Services include one-on-one coaching, "Ask A Therapist" options, and webinars offered throughout the school year for families. Jennifer Mahr and Sarah Mauney participated in the Bay Quest Workshop with Friends of the Rappahannock this summer. They went out on the Bay Quest boat with Captain David and learned about oysters, crabs, water quality, and the area's history. They are planning a Meaningful Watershed Educational Experience (MWEE) for the 6th graders.

The Middle Peninsula Regional Adult and Career Education (MPRACE) program is dedicated to providing comprehensive GED support for adult learners in the Middle Peninsula region. MPRACE focuses on helping individuals achieve their General Educational Development (GED) credentials through tailored instruction, flexible scheduling, and supportive resources. The program emphasizes personalized learning plans, offering both in-person and online classes to accommodate diverse needs. Additionally, MPRACE provides career counseling and skills development to prepare participants for success in the workforce, fostering a pathway to improved job opportunities and personal growth.

Charting our Course to 2029! The MCPS Administrative Team kicked off the summer analyzing the efforts on the priorities for 23-24 and identifying the priorities and strategies for 24-25.











We hope our second graders are using their swimming and water safety skills! MCPS is fortunate to have our partnership with the Middlesex Family YMCA and the Deltaville Community Association to provide water safety instruction to all second graders during the last few weeks of school.
