Congratulations to Sawyer Laster, a student at MES, for receiving a Volunteer of the Year award at the YMCA of the Virginia Peninsulas' annual community impact dinner. Sawyer raised a record high $4,500 for the 2024 Polar Bear Plunge, a fundraiser for Camp Kekoka.
