MES PTO

Huge thank you to everybody who donated or volunteered their time this past Thursday during parent/teacher conferences.  There were so many people to helped make the night a success that I'm having trouble keeping track! 
 
The teachers enjoyed a nice dinner and had some rather scrumptious side dishes to compliment their sandwiches. There was a spinach salad, pasta and potato salads, 7 layer salad, tossed salad with dressing and a pretty congealed jello salad, and a few specialty salads! The pound cake and cookies were delightful and the teachers just loved them!  Many, many thanks were received from the teachers...we wanted to pass these hearfelt "thank you's" on to all of you who made it possible!
 
The donations that came in for the kids snack event were all put to good use. Every last piece of "art" was a masterpiece! Despite the chaos - that kids had a really great time!
 
The k-kids came through again, ran errands, managed the sign up table, delivered food, helped with Snack Attack and generally pitched in anywhere they were asked. Thank you to Mrs. Duke and Mrs. Stamm who took time out of their really busy day to help us organize the kids.  They were a HUGE help!
 
Big hugs to all the parents who helped out - a few key players who pitched in last minute receive two hugs!  Special thanks to Laurie Ann Batley, Karen McMinn, Kathy Ruark, Etta Mae Taylor, Lauren Berry, Jenni Millen, Susan Dize, Jennifer Duke, and the other wonderful parents who helped out where they could.
